When the operating system receives this abnormal fragment IP packet, it may lead to abnormal and unstable system behaviors, from network connection lost to system collapse. The relevant information about such loopholes may be searched by inputting the keywords ‘syndrop, overdrop or nestea’ in the newsgroup or mailing lists. The consequences may include: the user can not realize remote login, off-line operation, management registry, creation of a new file-sharing connection and remote management.
