万圣节的英语是Halloween吗？应该怎么说？

从上面的解释中可以得知Halloween只是All Hallows' Day（万圣节）的eve（前夜）!所以准确来说，Halloween应该译成“万圣夜”而非“万圣节”。 搞清楚了万圣夜和万圣节，该说一下Halloween的发音了。
很多人把它读成hello win，这是不对的，它的发音应该是：[ˌhæləˈwin] hallow作动词的意思是“使...神圣/把...奉为神圣”，而All Hallows' Day中hallow加了s说明它也可以作名词，表示“圣徒”。
