集美打造东南沿海最大铁路货场

东南沿海最大铁路货场将落户厦门集美，目前已通过评审，预计今年内开工。该货场建成后将成东南沿海最大的铁路枢纽货场，将拉动厦门、漳州、泉州等闽南地区及粤东地区二三产业的发展。该项目总投资２５亿元，计划建设货物装卸线１７条，辅轨３０公里。预测明年物流量１３６０万吨。

Jimei of Xiamen will build a hub railway cargo station at a cost of 2.5 billion yuan, the largest such project of its kind on China’s southeastern coast. Construction is due to kick off within the year. The project will have 17 handling tracks with a combined length of 30km, and is expected to handle 13.6 million tons of cargos next year.

First local mutual fund

厦门建发要开首家基金公司

过一阵子，厦门人或许能买到“闽南味”基金了。建发股份和兴业银行近日发出公告说，双方将联合法国NATIXIS银行设立合资基金公司。消息一出，建发股份两天内上涨超过13%。厦门建发股份有限公司说，眼下，建发方面的具体投资比例还没有确定，基金公司何时亮相还是未知数。

Xiamen residents may soon be able to invest in a local mutual fund, as Xiamen C&D Inc. and China Industrial Bank have announced that they will set up a joint-venture mutual fund company with the French bank NATIXIS. Shares of Xiamen C&D Inc. rose 13% over two days on the strength of the announcement. The company said that its percentage of interest in the proposed mutual fund has not been finalized and that there is no specific timetable for launching the fund.

Carriers exempted from taxes

两岸直航公司可免税

从事海上直航业务的航运公司在大陆取得的运输收入，可以免征营业税和企业所得税。 近日，财政部、国家税务总局就海峡两岸船运公司从事我省沿海与金门、马祖、澎湖海上直航业务有关税收政策问题发出通知。通知说，做出此项优惠，为推动海峡两岸直航进程。在享受免征营业税的同时，这类船运公司在今年5月1日后从事福建沿海与金门、马祖、澎湖海上直航业务的所得，还能享受到企业所得税免征的优惠。

Shipping companies engaged in direct transport services across the Taiwan Strait will be exempted from business tax and corporate income tax. The Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation have recently issued a joint circular defining the tax policies for direct transport services between Fujian and Kinmen, Matzu and Penghu. The exemption is intended to encourage direct transport services across the Taiwan Strait. Shipping companies will be exempted from business taxes as well as taxes on incomes derived from direct transport services provided after May 1 of this year.

厦出口食品将实施"召回"制

“我们承诺，当发现出口产品存在安全隐患，可能对人体健康和生命安全造成损害的，立即通知销售者停止销售，主动召回产品”。近日，厦门一家出口食品龙头生产企业的老总在厦门口岸产品质量和食品安全工作会议上，代表厦门检区375家出口食品、农产品企业公开作出的庄严承诺。至此，全国首个直接由企业以“承诺书”的形式写入有关召回具体措施的口岸在厦门宣誓诞生。

"We promise to immediately require our distributors to stop sales and recall our export products if they have been found to pose a threat to human health and safety.” This promise was made by the general manager of a leading maker of export food in Xiamen at a recent conference on product quality and food safety. He made the commitment on behalf of 375 manufacturers of export food and agricultural products in Xiamen. For the first time in China, they have provided recall measures in their letters of commitment.

闽八县市入围全国县域经济竞争力百强

第七届全国县域经济基本竞争力百强县（市）评选结果日前公布，此次福建省共有8个县市入围百强之列，晋江第6位、福清第21位、惠安第33位、石狮第42位、南安第49位、长乐第66位、龙海第83位、安溪第97位。全国县域经济百强县（市）主要分布在东部地区，浙江省和山东省各有25个入围；江苏省有24个；福建省有8个，排在第四。
