一个“乞丐”

one "begger"

场景一：

Scene one:

在初二时，物华一个人独自居住在一幢只有一个水桶，一个勺子，一张草席，一条破被子的房子里，他每天早上都会去捡废品。
In the second year of middle school,Wu hua lived on his own in a building having nothing but a buket,a ladle,a straw mat,a quilt.He had to pick up scrap.

一：破晓前  ( 刚起来，在街上捡废品）

One ：before dawn（Wu hua was just out of bed, collecting

Discards on the streets.

二：物华在捡废品时                ，一个穿着华丽的人边走，边吃东西。东西吃完一半，扔在地上，物华正好看见，上前捡起来吃。

Two:while Wu hua was gathering rejected materials,a gorgeously appareled man walk and luxuriant eat at the same time. The food was eating half,then was threw on the ground,which was saw by Wu hua.

A正好遇见B：

A see B by chance:
B：Hello!How are you.
A：
B：看，那个可怜的小孩，竟然捡街上别人吃剩的东西吃！

B:Look,what a poor boy to pick up others leftovers to eat along the street.

A：（回头看）这小孩怎么这么不讲卫生？我没吃完，扔掉了的东西还捡起来吃！（不理解，看不起）

A:(looking back)Why the child don’t pay attention to hygiene?Eat what I hadn’t eaten and threw away!
B：他大概是家里没吃的，生活所迫啊！这就是穷人的悲惨命运啊！你怎么一点怜悯心都没有！

B:He seems to have nothing to eat, constrained by livelihood.That’s the miserable destiny of the poor!

You have little simpathy .

A：（有点羞愧）（转过身）Come on! Boy! here is the money!（把钱扔在地上）（假装慷慨）
A:(A little ashamed)(turn in the boy) Come on! Boy! here is the money! (Throw money on the ground) (pretended generous)

物华：谢谢！（自尊）（把钱捡起来）

物华：:Thanks!(Self-respect)(Pick up money)

 中午，物华被饥饿叫醒了。从床上爬起，喝了一口水，充饥。午睡后，他肚子依然空空的，他决定去姨夫家。

At noon,Wu hua was woke up by the hunger.He got out of bed ,drank an mouthful of water to stay his hunger.But it didn’t work.After noontime snooze, he remains an empty stomach.He decided to turn to his uncle.

物华：（敲们）表哥，我来了。

Wu hua:(Knock the door) Cousin, I came.
表哥：哦，是“小乞丐”来了！
物华来了！

Cousin：Oh,it’s “little begger”! It’s wu hua.
物华：今天有什么事做？

Wu hua:What things to do today?
表哥：我不知道，着得问我爸。
爸，今天叫物华做什么事？

Cousin：I don’t konw ,have to ask my Dad. Daddy,what ‘s the thing we call wu hua to do today?
姨夫：哦！你去和面吧！

Uncle:Oh!You go to mix dough.
物华正在和面

Wu hua was mixing dough.

姨夫：你怎么这么苯手苯脚的，不会做事呀！？

Uncle:You are all fingers and thumbs,unable to work?
表哥：（嘲笑）你看他那样的人做什么事能做得好啊！？一副没出息的样！

Cousin：(laughing)You see what a person he is ,did what well? a good-for-nothing!

姨夫：唉！你还是去打水吧！别在这里碍手碍脚的！？

Uncle: Alas! You’d better to fetch water! You are one unnecessary here!

物华：恩！那水桶在那里啊？

Wu hua:Well , where’s the pail?
