四、when
1）连词（conj）（当…时，如果，然而）
1. 主句+ when从句 当…时，一…就…
I'll call you when I get there. 我一到那里就给你打电话
When I was young, I was sick all the time. 在我小时候我总是生病
2. 主句+ when从句 如果…就…
Turn off the switch when anything goes wrong with the machine.

五、Where
1）副词（adv）（什么地方）
Where is/助动词 ...? xx在哪里？…哪里？
Eg.Where is Sue? She is in her room.
Eg.where did you go? 你上哪去了？
Eg.Where would we be without your help?
如果不是你的帮助我们将会处于何等境地呢?
Eg.Where is this argument leading? 这场争论将导致什么结果?
2）连词（conj）
Where there's smoke, there's fire. 哪里有烟，哪里就有火
They will go where they are happy.他们想到他们快乐的地方去

Where to? 去哪儿？上哪儿去？
Where it’s at! 真棒！
六、Why/What ...for?
What are you running for?（=why do you run?）
What did they go there for? （=why did they go there?）
I know why you left. 我知道你离开的原因
That's the reason why I wrote to him. 那就是我写信给他的原因。
I cannot explain why. 我说不出理由。
Every why has its wherefore.[谚]凡事均有因; 有理由必有原因。
七、是非疑问句
Be/助动词 …?
Eg.Are you a teacher? Yes, I am. (No, I’m not.)
Eg.Do you speak English? Yes, I do. (No, I don’t.)
Eg.Does she have a cat? Yes, she does. (No, she doesn’t.)
Did he clean the room yesterday? Yes, he did. (No, he didn’t)
Do you ever use a computer? No, I never use a computer.
Does Tom ever get up late? No, Tom never gets up late.
八、反意疑问句
陈述句 + 简单疑问句？
Eg.They’re ready, aren’t they?
Eg.The secretary typed the letter, didn’t she?
Eg.They will go to Europe, won’t they?
Eg.We should rise early, shouldn’t we? 我们应该早起，不是吗？
Eg.Mike doesn’t have a car, does he? 麦克没有车，是吗？
Eg.I don’t think he can answer the question, can he?
Eg.He isn’t a manager, is he?
八、选择疑问句
1）or
Eg.Are you from the America or from the England?
Eg.Shall we come to see you or will you come to see us?
Eg.When will you go to the Fair, tomorrow or some other day?
Eg.Which would you rather to buy － silk or cotton?
2）whether/if
They asked him whether the quality is fine or not.
I wonder if he is in the school.
We should find out whether the museum is open.
我们该查明博物馆是不是开门
He passed the test, whether by skill or luck.
他通过了考试，不是靠技术就是靠运气
九、间接疑问句
结构：主要子句＋疑问词（what／how／which／why 等）＋子句（注：疑问词后面的语句采用正常词序）
I’d like to know how old the manager is.
Tell me why it is so important?
What they talked about is what we want to know.
You will never know how much your encouragement meant to me.
十、双重疑问句
Can you tell me where the teacher has gone?
Do you know if they like this new item?
Can you tell me how much you earn a month?
