20.1.4 减速器
Two (2) reduction gearboxes with built in hydraulics clutches shall be supplied. Gear ratio is to match the main engine speed for appropriate propeller rpm. The direction of rotation for the gearboxes shall be arranged to ensure correct rotation on the propellers.
需配备两(2)个带内置液压离合器的变速箱。为获得适当的螺旋桨转速,变速箱的传动比需与主发动机速度相匹配。调整变速箱的旋转方向使其能确保螺旋桨的正确旋转。
20.1.5 Power Take Off (P.T.O.)

Each engine is to be provided with P.T.O. at front end to drive a fire pump via a step-up gearbox to match the RPM of the fire pump.

20.1.6.2 Shafting and Stern tubes
20.1.6.2转轴及船尾管
Stern tubes shall be fitted with inboard and outboard with oil lubricated lips type seals. Two (2) stern tube oil tanks are to be fitted and arranged to feed each stern tube by gravity.
Forged steel tailshaft and intermediate shaft to be sized in accordance to rules requirements. Forward and aft bearing and intermediate shaft bearing to be of white metal type.
船尾管配备有带有油润滑唇型油封的内侧及外侧尾轴管。需安装和配备两个(2)尾轴管用油箱,通过重力将油输送到每个船尾管。
锻钢尾轴和中间轴必须符合规定要求的尺寸。船尾船头的轴承和中间轴轴承必须是白合金型。
